. Title: Market Development Lead
Location: Chicago, IL
Details: 6-month contract role with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $50.00 – 55.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
Job Summary
This role supports marketing, training, and promotional initiatives. The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute promotions, develop training content, and provide administrative support for ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Support claims and administrative tasks related to seasonal promotional challenges (daily during December; high priority).
- Manage promotional programs: review prior month impact, communicate new promotions, provide mid-month and end-of-month updates, and ensure promotions are live (ongoing; high priority).
- Assist with training content creation and coordination, including planning for upcoming training sessions and liaising with subject matter experts (monthly; medium priority).
- Provide support for marketing projects including promotional material approvals, campaign monitoring, and bulletin creation (ongoing; high priority).
- Transfer product reference data from spreadsheets into marketing templates and assist with content completion (ongoing; low priority).
Years of Experience and Education
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, training coordination, or administrative support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Skills Required
- Experience supporting promotional and training initiatives.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms and content approval workflows.
- Ability to coordinate with subject matter experts and manage training calendars.
- Proficiency in data handling and template formatting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
