Pay Rate: $42.00 – 44.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead and manage Current Product Improvement (CPI) projects using CPI tools and Six Sigma methodologies. This role involves collaborating with global teams, suppliers, and process partners to deliver product quality improvements, perform design updates, and ensure customer and business requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage CPI projects using CPI tools and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Guide cross-functional teams to deliver global product quality improvement projects.
- Perform current product maintenance and implement design updates/improvements.
- Collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and process partners to ensure quality standards.
- Develop solutions and execute validation plans.
- Conduct design reviews and create engineering drawings.
- Release design updates and follow up on implementation timelines.
- Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities within the operator systems team.
- Support BIQ (Built-in Quality) projects and address production line issues.
Years of Experience and Education
- Experience: 6–8 years (internship experience accepted)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Technical Skills (Required)
- Data analytics.
- Experience in stampings, fabrication, and non-metallic design/manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Creo and Teamcenter.
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack-up.
Technical Skills (Desired)
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
