Location: Mossville, IL (Onsite)
Duration: 18-Month Contract
Pay: Up to $40-$42/hr W2

Overview
- Seeking an engineer with a strong technical foundation and interest in the business side of engineering.
- This role blends engineering, cost analysis, project management, supplier collaboration, and data-driven decision making.
- Work closely with engineering teams, suppliers, procurement, and stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and support new product development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets and identify cost, sourcing, and value creation opportunities.
- Maintain dashboards and prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) projects and component development programs.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Lead discussions, coordinate deliverables, and track project progress.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes, sourcing strategies, and product tradeoffs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
- Experience working in an engineering environment.
- Strong Excel, Power BI, Teams, and data analysis skills.
- Understanding of product development lifecycle, including requirements, testing/validation, and production support.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Creo modeling experience.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Exposure to cost analysis, sourcing, manufacturing processes, or product value engineering.
- NPI or product development experience.
