• Overtime may be required (primarily Fridays, occasionally Saturdays)
• Up to 5 hours of OT per week may be approved without prior notice
• Additional OT requires manager pre?approval
Pay Range:
$65–$70 per hour
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with strong MES and SCADA experience to support onsite manufacturing operations in San Antonio. This role is highly hands-on and focused on process setup, system integration, MES configuration, deployment, and continuous improvement within a high?volume manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate has deep experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and/or SCADA systems, strong process engineering expertise, and the ability to lead cross?functional teams through system changes and new product introductions.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and support MES system configuration changes and deployments
• Provide hands?on engineering support for process design and setup
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities involving MES configurations
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to meet project deadlines and resolve issues
• Prepare and execute training plans, manufacturing documentation, and system specifications
• Coordinate and support pilot builds, capturing and resolving implementation issues
• Maintain records and present reports related to MES system changes
• Support changes related to the MRE system
• Communicate project status, risks, and escalations to management
• Define, manage, track, and report MES budgets (capital and expense)
• Coordinate design reviews with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Support manufacturing engineers and project managers across multiple project phases
• Adapt to varying tasks to support overall manufacturing and NPI objectives
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including successful new process setup
• Strong MES and/or SCADA engineering experience (required)
• Hands?on experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining manufacturing systems
• Experience with SQL Server and writing queries to validate data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering tools (Minitab, MATLAB, or similar)
• Experience working with ERP systems and simulation software
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing engineering projects and teams
• Experience managing project timelines, resources, and budgets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Background in automotive, truck manufacturing, or other high?volume manufacturing environments
Preferred Experience
• MES system integrations in automotive or heavy manufacturing environments
• Vendor coordination and technical negotiation experience
• Experience supporting equipment installation, setup, and validation
Work Environment & Travel
• 100% onsite at the San Antonio manufacturing facility
• Increased onsite presence during equipment installation and validation phases
• Occasional travel to other manufacturing facilities for benchmarking may be required

• Must comply with all facility safety standards, OSHA and ANSI requirements
• Required PPE includes safety glasses, steel?toed shoes, hearing protection, and head protection
