Location: Remote

Pay Range: $93-98 per hour
Schedule: Wed- Sun or Sat- Wed from 2:00-11:00 PM EST (Second Shift)
Training Schedule: Initial training conducted on First Shift (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST, Monday-Friday)

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Network Operations & Automation Engineer to support a large-scale global network environment that powers mission-critical business applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, leveraging automation, and working with modern technologies in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for maintaining network stability, monitoring performance, supporting operational excellence, and implementing network changes that ensure reliability and security across a global infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of a large-scale global mixed-media network environment.
- Support mission-critical applications by identifying and resolving performance, connectivity, and infrastructure issues.
- Monitor network events, alerts, and system health to proactively address operational concerns.
- Manage incident and service tickets through resolution while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Design, implement, and support network infrastructure changes and enhancements.
- Contribute to automation initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Apply observability and monitoring practices to maintain high availability and operational performance.
- Support Agile team activities, including sprint ceremonies, demonstrations, and technical presentations.
- Promote and uphold security best practices throughout all aspects of network operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Network Operations, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting enterprise network environments and troubleshooting network issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a real-time operations environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Comfortable adopting new technologies and automation-driven solutions.
- Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to team ceremonies.
- Security-first mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA certification or equivalent networking experience.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and observability tools such as SolarWinds and Riverbed.
- Experience navigating and resolving network outages and operational incidents.
- Exposure to automation, AI, software engineering, or scripting technologies.
- Experience working in 24×7 Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar operations environments.
