Summary

The Network Coordination Engineer supports manufacturing new model launches by ensuring all network infrastructure, connectivity, and system integrations are ready, tested, and operational to meet launch milestones. This role combines network engineering, project coordination, and manufacturing support, serving as the primary contact for network-related launch activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate network readiness activities, project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for new model launches.
  • Collaborate with Network Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing IT, and external vendors to ensure successful deployment.
  • Ensure installation, configuration, and validation of network infrastructure, including:
    • Core, distribution, and access layer networking
    • Wired and wireless networks (Wi-Fi 7)
    • Commercial and private cellular solutions
    • Network cabling and connectivity
  • Support provisioning, testing, and end-to-end validation of network devices and systems.
  • Coordinate system integrations between network components and manufacturing equipment.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings, provide status updates, and manage risks, issues, and escalations.
  • Troubleshoot network-related issues and coordinate resolution efforts.
  • Support pre-production trials, pilot builds, and production readiness assessments.
  • Maintain project documentation, tracking tools, and launch reports while capturing lessons learned.

  • Wireless and cellular deployment validation and troubleshooting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting wired and wireless network environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and escalate issues as needed.
  • Relevant networking certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA).

Work Environment

  • Primarily onsite in a manufacturing environment.
  • Frequent collaboration with IT, operations, engineering teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Fast-paced environment with critical deadlines tied to production launch milestones.
