Summary
Join the team as a Network Security Operations Engineer, where you will help design and support secure systems across the organization. This role focuses on building security solutions, managing cyber risks, and ensuring technology projects align with cybersecurity standards. You will collaborate with engineering, architecture, application, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure technical solutions, introduce new technologies, and improve the overall security posture. The position requires strong problem?solving skills, hands-on experience with security technologies, and the ability to advise teams during escalations and technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and support security solutions that align with cybersecurity strategies and technology roadmaps.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned security tools, technologies, and platforms.
- Analyze current and future state security architecture to understand impacts and guide secure implementation.
- Lead risk remediation efforts, escalate high-impact issues, and support operational risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, data, and application teams throughout solution implementation.
- Review and validate technical requirements and documentation to ensure systems meet security and compliance standards.
- Provide technical guidance during escalations and support investigations into security-related issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and security partners.
- Stay current on emerging security threats, patterns, attack methods, and next-generation security designs.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements, regulatory standards, and legal obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, Engineering, Informatics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Application Security, Security Engineering, or similar.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, secure system design, and risk management.
- Experience supporting or engineering complex security technologies.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements, interpret architecture models, and advise on secure implementations.
- Strong communication skills for working with technical teams and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with next?gen security tools and emerging cyber technologies.
- Background supporting security engineering in high?velocity or enterprise?scale environments.
- Familiarity with audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience partnering with cross?functional engineering teams on technical solution delivery.
