Job Title: Order Fulfillment Coordinator
Location: Milan, IL (John Deere PDC)
Compensation: $20.97/hr
Schedule:
- Training: 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Post-training: Flexible hours
Travel: Occasional travel to offsite warehouses within 10 miles
Position Overview
The Order Fulfillment Coordinator will work 100% onsite in a warehouse environment to support packaging specification accuracy and order fulfillment processes. This role involves measuring parts, recording data, and ensuring compliance with packaging standards. You will collaborate with SCW Analysts and follow detailed instructions for part measurement and data entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure parts in the warehouse according to provided specifications.
- Input measurements and related data into the packaging specification application.
- Follow detailed instructions from SCW Analysts regarding measurement requirements and warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., Cushman vehicle) safely.
Top Must-Have Skills
- Basic Excel and computer proficiency.
- Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and work with data sets.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a high-traffic warehouse environment.
- Able to be on feet for approximately 50% of the day.
- Ability to drive a Cushman (battery-operated vehicle).
Safety & PPE Requirements
- Must wear metatarsal safety shoes from day one (not provided by Deere).
- Deere provides other PPE: safety glasses and gloves.
Education & Experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
- Open to recent graduates with relevant coursework or internships.
