Pay Range: 

$83.04 – $85.29 per hour

Job Description:  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Engineer multiple retail fixtures simultaneously, including tables, walls, displays, and other furniture elements, utilizing an ODM development model. 

  • Guide external vendors through the design and development process to achieve program objectives. 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to refine fixture aesthetics, customer experience, functionality, and overall design intent. 

  • Validate designs for mass production through manufacturing data, reliability testing, stress analysis, failure analysis, and tolerance studies. 

  • Develop manufacturing processes and tooling concepts with external vendors. 

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and collaborative problem-solving activities. 

  • Present technical solutions and design recommendations to stakeholders at various organizational levels. 

  • Travel domestically and internationally to vendor and installation sites to support implementation and investigate field issues. 

Requirements 

  • 7+ years of relevant engineering experience. 

  • Strong understanding of solid mechanics and material properties. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. 

  • Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working with metal manufacturing methodologies. 

  • Experience performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA). 

  • Experience with Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). 

  • Experience conducting root cause investigations and corrective action activities. 

  • Background supporting product design through manufacturing and production ramp. 

  • Experience in analytical engineering environments outside traditional retail or furniture industries is welcomed.
