Position Overview
Epitec is seeking a Plant Vehicle Team Engineer (PVTE) – Body / Vehicle Quality Engineering for the largest U.S. automaker in Chicago, IL.
This position is focused on plant-floor vehicle quality investigations, warranty analysis, root cause identification, containment actions, and corrective action implementation within a high-volume automotive assembly environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading quality investigations and driving production issues to closure in an OEM assembly plant.

Responsibilities

Analyze warranty data, customer feedback, and vehicle failure trends.

Perform warranty claim triage and issue categorization.

Conduct root cause investigations utilizing:

Plant-floor inspections

Returned parts analysis

Manufacturing process reviews
-

Lead and implement:

Interim Containment Actions (ICA)

Permanent Corrective Actions (PCA)

Requirements
Required

Bachelor’s Degree.

3+ years of automotive manufacturing experience.
