Product Service Engineer 

We are seeking a Product Service Engineer to support the development, deployment, and ongoing success of advanced equipment technologies in a dynamic engineering environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional who enjoys blending hands-on troubleshooting with project coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership communication.

Location: Mossville, IL (On-Site)
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Pay: $49 – $52 an hr

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and lead service test initiatives, ensuring alignment across engineering, validation, proving grounds, and product teams.
  • Support the migration of machine service tests from on-machine execution to remote execution environments.
  • Collaborate with product groups to drive adoption of new technologies, hardware, and software solutions.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues involving software, hardware, and service tools.
  • Serve as a liaison between engineering, implementation teams, support teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful product support.
  • Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities and provide support throughout product deployment.
  • Validate service tests through hands-on work with equipment and engineering teams.
  • Develop presentations and executive-level status updates for leadership regarding project milestones and technology adoption.
  • Track project progress, manage action items, and coordinate deliverables across multiple teams.
  • Support customer and dealer issue resolution through established service and incident management processes.
  • Identify opportunities for product and process improvements and communicate recommendations to key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of related experience
    • OR Associate degree with 7+ years of experience
    • OR Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience
  • Background in service engineering, field service, equipment support, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation development and status reporting.
  • Experience coordinating projects, initiatives, or cross-functional engineering activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with machine service, equipment diagnostics, or diesel engine service.
  • Familiarity with service tools and diagnostic software.
  • Experience in manufacturing, heavy equipment, mining, industrial, or off-highway environments.
  • Project management or team leadership experience.
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) initiatives.
