Job Title: Product Specialist 3
Contract Duration: 1 year, possible extension

Work Arrangement: Onsite
Pay Range: $40 – $43 per hour

Summary
The Product Specialist serves as a subject matter expert for Home Appliance products throughout the product lifecycle. This role is responsible for reviewing and developing technical content, supporting service and training documentation, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring service information is available and accurate within STG. The Product Specialist also provides technical guidance and supports product quality, go-to-market initiatives, and customer objectives.

Responsibilities
Product & Technical Content Management

  • Analyze current STG status to determine the extent of missing content for Dacor.
  • Identify models missing from STG.
  • Review content types including Error Codes, Service Guides, Exploded Views, Wire Diagrams, and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with the PI Team to add missing models to STG.
  • Prioritize models with high service demand and warranty volume.
  • Review Service and Training Manuals.
  • Create content for new models prior to launch.

Technical Documentation

  • Develop, prepare, and review technical reports and technical documents.
  • Create and maintain test procedures, user guides, installation manuals, and maintenance manuals.
  • Review service content and recommend improvements to enhance service expertise.

Product Support & Strategy

  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge across Home Appliance and Electronic Products.
  • Support Sales, Product, and Customer Care departments with product expertise.
  • Demonstrate the value of product technology to advance customer objectives.
  • Provide technical advice and thought leadership regarding complex products.
  • Analyze industry, competition, and market information to communicate solution value.
  • Recommend product and service configurations to support system design and integration.
  • Support the development and execution of company-wide go-to-market plans.
  • Ensure product quality expectations are clearly defined across teams.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in Engineering, Technical, or Home Appliance fields.
  • Equivalent Home Appliance experience may be considered in place of an engineering degree.
