Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking a Production Supervisor – Material Handling to lead daily logistics and material handling operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop an hourly workforce
- Coordinate workflow to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets
- Ensure standardized work practices are followed and operational goals are achieved
- Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts
- Build strong working relationships with employees, union representatives, and leadership teams
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, material planning, or logistics environment
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
