Project Coordinator – Traverse City

The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the delivery of gas and electric services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This role involves overseeing projects from initial customer scope through design, scheduling, and construction, ensuring timely completion aligned with customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers, Consumers Energy, and external stakeholders.
  • Scope projects, estimate loads and costs, and identify necessary permits.
  • Coordinate design and construction phases, ensuring alignment with internal processes and customer timelines.
  • Conduct field visits as needed to meet with customers and assess site conditions.
  • Utilize CAD, SAP, and other systems to support project execution and documentation.
  • Manage project milestones, prioritize tasks, and ensure quality control.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a technical or scientific field (or 60 credits toward a technical bachelor’s degree).
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex projects.
