Program Coordinator
Epitec is seeking a Program Coordinator to support a foster care/resource family program in Providence, Rhode Island. This position will play an important role in recruiting, developing, and supporting resource families by helping newly licensed families navigate available services, access training, and connect with community resources.
Job Details
- Location: Providence, RI
- Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
- Schedule: 30 hours per week, with a maximum of 35 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 6 months
- Pay Range: $23-$25/hr
Responsibilities
- Support the recruitment, development, and retention of resource/foster families.
- Assist newly licensed resource families with navigating programs, services, and available resources.
- Help implement and maintain support programming for resource families.
- Connect families with appropriate community resources and services.
- Assist families in understanding and navigating the foster care system.
- Support training and educational opportunities for resource families.
- Work closely with internal program staff to ensure families receive ongoing support.
- Build positive relationships with resource families and community partners.
- Help identify family needs and connect them with appropriate assistance and resources.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of lived or professional experience within foster care programming preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build supportive relationships with families.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Comfortable helping individuals navigate programs, services, and community resources.
- Previous experience in foster care, child welfare, family services, social services, community outreach, or a related environment is highly desirable.
