Pay Rate – $60/hr
Senior Project Scheduler
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Project Scheduler III to support Periodic and Forced Outages across five Fossil Generation Sites. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team focused on planning, scheduling, and progress tracking using Primavera P6.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive outage schedules using Primavera P6
- Analyze schedule progress and performance to ensure alignment with outage objectives
- Forecast outage timelines and identify potential risks or delays
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate schedule inputs
- Generate reports and visualizations to communicate schedule status and updates
- Participate in outage planning meetings and departmental discussions
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, including layouts, activity codes, resources, group & sort functions, and reporting
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with project teams and stakeholders
- Ability to contribute effectively in outage and departmental meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of generation plant operations and prior experience with plant outages
- Familiarity with Schedule Quality practices in P6
- Experience with Power BI, including report creation and usage
- Certifications such as PMP, PSP, CST, or other PMI/AACEI credentials (preferred but not required)
Education Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma
- Preferred: Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree in a relevant field
