Title: QA Test Automation Engineer

Pay Rate: $80.00 – 90.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
This position involves ANACI clearance which requires candidates to be US citizens or Green Card holders for a minimum of one year.
Job Description
The FRFS business line is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive end-to-end quality through close collaboration with developers, product owners, and other key stakeholders. This role requires strong ownership to define, implement, and champion quality practices that ensure high-impact delivery of software products.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, test, and deliver technology solutions for business areas while implementing comprehensive software quality assurance strategies.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts.
- Assist in building CI/CD pipelines to execute test scripts on schedule.
- Validate end-to-end flows across multiple teams.
- Document, track, and resolve software defects or issues in collaboration with the product delivery team.
- Ensure quality is built into the software solution throughout the development lifecycle by performing peer reviews and leveraging QA processes and technologies.
- Develop and communicate software quality measures for reliability, compliance/accessibility, performance, and security.
- Work closely with delivery partners to align QA services with product delivery approach and schedule.
Years of Experience and Education
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years as a Senior Quality Engineer.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills Required
Top 3 Hard Skills:
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Cypress, Selenium).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Java.
- Experience working with a cloud provider (AWS).
Additional Technical Skills:
- Performance testing tools (jMeter).
- UI and API automation for web applications.
- Strong understanding of QA and testing discipline, including automation best practices and ability to architect/debug complex scripts.
- Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
Top 3 Soft Skills:
- Ability to work across multiple teams and execute test cases for large-scale projects.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to align QA services with delivery schedules.
- Proven leadership and initiative as a Senior Quality Engineer.
