Quality/Test Engineer

JOB SUMMARY FOR QUALITY/TEST ENGINEER:
- Seeking a Quality/Test Engineer for a leading manufacturer in Chillicothe, IL
- Pay Rate: $43-45/hour depending on benefit package needed.
- Onsite M-F 8am-4:30pm
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR QUALITY/TEST ENGINEER:
- Detect feature development in embedded C++, Linux, GitHub
- Issue resolution through triage and troubleshooting
- Agile Sprint environment
- Validation plan development
- Coordination with a global team of machine, systems, software, and validation teams
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR QUALITY/TEST ENGINEER:
- Master’s Degree – 5 years relevant experience
- BS Degree – 7 years relevant experience
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR QUALITY/TEST ENGINEER:
- Strong automated test design
- Strong python software scripting for automated test
- Capable of proposing solutions when features fail their test criteria
- Understand system-level feature design documentation to write test plans
- Capable of using datalink test equipment
- Functional Safety (FuSa) knowledge
- Safety of the intended function (SOTIF) knowledge
- Detect sensors
- Robotics or autonomy
