Job Title: Receiver
Contract Duration: 3 months, extension
Location: North Las Vegas, NV
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Shift: 5:00 am – 1:30pm
Summary
The Receiver is responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of inbound shipments from vendor partners and customers.
Responsibilities
- Quality Control by accurately inspecting, counting, and receiving products using RF scanner or AS400 menu options.
- Sort, unbox, count, scan, cube, bundle, and label product.
- Collaborate with the Data Entry team to ensure products are accurately received and processed when questions or discrepancies are identified during the quality control process.
- Offload packages from floor loaded parcel trailers.
- Utilize Pallet Jack to move pallets of materials or product.
- Follow Preferred Methods and Safety Guidelines.
- Rotate throughout the department performing various functions, including housekeeping.
- Assist other areas of Operations as required.
- Attain individual and department goals.
Required Qualification
- Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational, counting, and multitasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
- Ability to perform 8 or more hours of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying products in any combination at any given time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team-lift for anything above 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as the weather fluctuates, noise from conveyors, and forklifts.
Preferred Experience
- Prior warehouse experience.
