Job Summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator 3 to support intern and STEM student programs at our Tech Center in Chillicothe, IL. This role focuses on program coordination, candidate engagement, and event planning to ensure a positive experience for interns and high school STEM trainees. The position requires collaboration with hiring managers, schools, and internal teams to deliver seamless recruiting and onboarding processes.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Engineering Intern Program, including candidate engagement and onboarding.
  • Lead efforts for intern engagement during orientation and throughout the program.
  • Manage recruiting and onboarding for the High School STEM Student Trainee Program.
  • Partner with local high schools and robotics teams to promote STEM initiatives.
  • Plan and execute orientation week events and Engineering Day at the Caterpillar Visitor Center.
  • Communicate with candidates via phone and email to ensure a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and internal teams to meet program goals.

Years of Experience and Education

  • Education: Associate Degree or BS Degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in recruiting, program coordination, or related roles.
  • Internship Experience: Accepted if relevant.
  • Comparable Roles: Program Coordinator.
