Recruiting Coordinator (On?Site – Morton, IL)
Pay: $25 an hr
We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support throughout the full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle. This role partners closely with recruiters, sourcers, and hiring managers to ensure a smooth, compliant, and efficient hiring process in a fast?paced, high?volume environment.
This is an on?site position in Morton, IL, with some travel to a nearby facility as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support across the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle in accordance with recruiting guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and administrative partners.
- Prepare and distribute interview details, offer?related documentation, and other required candidate communications.
- Support offer letter and contract rollout, background and reference checks, security clearances, and other pre?hire activities.
- Assist with collection and tracking of pre?employment documentation and onboarding paperwork.
- Maintain accurate and up?to?date candidate records in applicant tracking and HR systems (e.g., Taleo, PeopleSoft).
- Ensure day?one documentation is completed and forwarded to the appropriate document management teams.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to support high?volume recruiting efforts and meet defined service?level agreements (SLAs).
- Contribute to recruiting metrics, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support recruiting events, campaigns, and broader team projects as needed.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in recruiting coordination, human resources, or a high?volume staffing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web?based recruiting or HR systems.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and maintaining accurate recruitment data.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time?management skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a matrixed team environment and meet deadlines.
- Self?motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting high?volume recruiting or delivery organizations.
- Familiarity with workforce analytics, recruiting metrics, and reporting.
- Strong relationship?building skills with recruiters, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Experience coordinating recruiting activities across multiple locations.
