Location: Milan, IL
Pay: $31. 25 per hour
Shift: 3rd Shift (11pm-7:30am)
Supports health and safety management for Parts Division distribution and manufacturing operations. Spends ~50% of time on warehouse floor conducting safety observations, incident investigations, employee interviews, and training. Hard hat and steel toe boots required.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and improve processes to reduce hazards.
Investigate incidents and ergonomic issues; recommend corrective actions.
Compile and analyze data for compliance with safety regulations and management system requirements.
Develop safety programs aligned with John Deere standards and laws.
Manage OSHA recordkeeping and internal safety documentation.
Coordinate audits and risk assessments; oversee corrective/preventive actions.
Review new processes/equipment for hazards and compliance.
Respond to safety-related inquiries and conduct training sessions.
Requirements:
Safety degree or strong manufacturing safety experience.
Knowledge of warehousing/manufacturing safety and training development.
Proficiency in MS Office; CSP preferred.
OSHA 10/30-hour experience and certifications a plus.
Must have metatarsal boots (not reimbursable).

Occupational safety experience.
OSHA certifications.
