Job Title: Salesforce Architect
Contract Duration:10 months, possible extension
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Pay Range: $70 – $80/hr
Summary
The Architect has the ability to design, develop, and implement application infrastructure to provide reliable and scalable applications and systems that meet organizational objectives and requirements. The Architect is familiar with a variety of application technologies, environments, concepts, methodologies, practices, and procedures. This role is capable of performing a variety of complex tasks with minimal or no direct supervision and is experienced in defining systems and application architecture.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience with hands-on technical development work.
- Ability to coordinate with technical leads, business users, and project managers.
- Experience participating in the development of standards and product recommendations.
- Experience designing and architecting systems as a member of a design team.
- Experience working through every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Technical Responsibilities
Development
- Develop high-quality, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex (classes, triggers, batch processes), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components.
Platform Configuration
- Build declarative solutions utilizing Salesforce automation tools, primarily advanced Flows, custom objects, validation rules, and security controls.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software errors, application bottlenecks, and data integration issues.
Code Quality & Best Practices
- Maintain clean, well-documented code.
- Write robust test classes to achieve high code coverage (minimum 75-80%).
- Participate in peer code reviews.
DevOps & Deployment
- Manage application lifecycles, sandbox environments, and deployment cycles using version control tools (GitHub) and CI/CD deployment tools
Years of Relevant Experience
- Up to 5 years of software development and testing experience.
Preferred Education
- Four-year college degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Advanced study preferred.
