We are seeking a Senior DevOps Programmer to join a large enterprise technology team supporting critical applications, infrastructure, and ERP systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced DevOps professional with expertise in CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and enterprise application support.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support complex enterprise applications and infrastructure solutions.
- Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and software delivery.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, Shell, or similar scripting languages.
- Support Linux, Unix, and Windows operating environments.
- Manage containerized environments utilizing Kubernetes, Rancher, and related technologies.
- Support ERP applications, databases, and enterprise integrations.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, operations, and business teams on technical initiatives.
- Support secure file transfers, batch processing jobs, and change management activities.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to security and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of software development, systems programming, DevOps, or related IT experience.
- 4+ years of technical leadership or lead-level experience.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and ArgoCD.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, Shell, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker, and container orchestration technologies.
- Linux/Unix systems administration experience.
- Experience supporting ERP environments and Oracle databases.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise ERP applications.
- Experience with WebSphere, InfoSphere, SSL certificate management, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with Splunk, Jira, Azure DevOps, Control-M, Cherwell, WinSCP, or FileZilla.
- Experience working in large enterprise or public sector environments.
