Software Engineer
Job Type: W2, 12-Month Contract
Job Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $110 – $112 per hour
This role supports data mitigation efforts on large-scale datasets—including image, video, and text—used by the Fundamental AI Research teams. The objective is to proactively identify and reduce potential risks associated with these datasets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development, and familiarity with AI-related tools and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Mitigation Processing
- Preprocessing: Convert original datasets into formats compatible with mitigation pipelines.
- Filtering: Execute filtering processes using Integrity’s pipeline.
- Post-processing: Apply filtering results to original datasets, repackage, and re-ingest them.
Optimization
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
Software Development
- Implement front-end features using React.
- Develop back-end functionality using PHP or Python.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions; specify identifiers for database management systems or direct others in coding descriptions.
Project Collaboration
- Attend project meetings and coordinate with team members to define scope and limitations of software development efforts.
Required Skills:
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python and experience with SQL or other data management tools.
- Experience in both front-end (React) and back-end (PHP/Python) development.
- Familiarity with data processing, cleaning, transformation, formatting, and validation.
Software Development Lifecycle
- Understanding of business/systems analysis, requirements gathering, functional specification authoring, development, testing, and delivery.
Problem Solving & Troubleshooting
- Ability to identify and resolve system issues and implement necessary changes.
Communication & Collaboration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Customer service and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in AI tool development or experience working with AI-related systems.
