| Duties: | Responsible for developing software and visualization solutions and in order to support future manufacturing deployments; designing, coding, testing, and deploying software for communication and web-based visualization to Industrial Devices including IEC-61131 compliant Programmable Logic Controllers, and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) / Operational Technology (OT); utilize Object-Oriented programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, and Swift to develop web application code; program with IEC-61131 language, emphasizing Structured Text; designing, developing, and implementing PLC Ladder Logic with Rockwell Automation and Siemens Software independently; apply knowledge of industrial and software protocols and interoperability; utilize and apply knowledge of AWS, J2EE/Java, Microservices, Test Programming, RESTful Web Services, Agile/SCRUM, API Development, GCP, AWS EC2, SDLC, and Spring MVC to complete assigned tasks; utilize CIP, Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA, MODBUS, MQTT, and Modbus to communicate with PLCs using interfaces including OPC UA, MQTT, and Modbus/TCP; use Docker/containerization and Linux to perform assigned tasks. | Minimum Qualifications: | Education: Master’s –Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer and Information Science, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Training: None; Experience: None; Other Requirements: Must have completed one (1) academic semester of coursework or research work that included use of all the following: AWS, J2EE/Java, Microservices, Test Programming, RESTful Web Services, Agile/SCRUM, API Development, GCP, AWS EC2, SDLC, and Spring MVC. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience. |
