Sr. Procurement Analyst

Job Type: W2, 12-month Contract

Job Location: Fully Remote

Pay Rate: $42.25 – $45.00 per hour
 

Overview

The Sr. Procurement Analyst will support the Vendor Management Office’s procure-to-pay (P2P) process by aligning procurement activities with best practices. This role involves managing procurement requests, ensuring budget and contract alignment, and overseeing the P2P workflow in Workday. The analyst will also generate spend analysis reports and maintain a high level of accuracy across all tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage internal software licensing requests and oversee the full payment process with the client’s Accounts Payable department
  • Maintain accurate software licensing databases and renewal reports
  • Assist in evaluating vendor performance and tracking remediation or termination actions
  • Participate in enterprise-level software acquisition projects
  • Identify and document cost containment opportunities and present findings to management
  • Provide regular communication, reporting, and status updates
  • Execute Blanket Purchase Orders, perform spend analysis, and manage Change Orders in collaboration with the Vendor Manager

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of procurement experience; experience with large-scale software vendors is a plus
  • Proficiency with contract repositories and ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, Coupa, or PowerBI
  • Strong data analysis skills and advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience in research, spreadsheet management, and report generation
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Capable of writing and presenting documentation clearly
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in translating technical information for non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated adaptability to changing business needs and deadlines
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build effective working relationships
