Location: Remote (California or Nearby State Residents Only)
Pay Rate: Up to $80/hour
Duration: 12-Month Contract with Potential Extension
Schedule: Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale, complex IT initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications while driving successful delivery of enterprise technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex IT projects from initiation through implementation and deployment.
- Manage cross-functional technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Facilitate executive-level presentations, status updates, and project reviews.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, security requirements, and change management processes.
- Coordinate project activities across multiple business and technology teams.
- Support requirements gathering, system integration efforts, testing, training, and implementation activities.
- Drive Agile project execution and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Active PMP Certification (required and cannot be substituted).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of IT Project Management experience.
- 4+ years leading large-scale or complex IT projects.
- Experience managing software development projects and SDLC initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience with:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Azure DevOps
- Agile Scrum methodologies
- 1+ year of Azure Cloud experience.
- Strong experience with project planning, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.
Preferred Experience
- Enterprise software implementations
- Digital transformation initiatives
- Government, healthcare, or highly regulated environments
- Business process improvement and change management
- System integration and quality assurance programs
