Job Overview
We are seeking a Supply Chain Engineer I to support inbound and outbound logistics operations at a manufacturing facility. This role focuses on ensuring materials are received, stored, and shipped efficiently while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and transportation activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early career professional looking to grow in supply chain and logistics engineering.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage inbound and outbound material flow to support production and delivery needs
• Ensure materials are shipped, received, stored, and delivered accurately and on time
• Support logistics planning and transportation activities, including carrier and mode selection
• Monitor carrier performance, identify issues, and support corrective actions
• Analyze freight spend, transportation performance, and logistics data to identify improvement opportunities
• Assist with reducing transportation costs and premium freight usage
• Support inventory flow based on predefined material flow paths
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, third party logistics providers, and internal teams
• Assist with freight claims related to loss or damage and support root cause analysis
• Communicate effectively with cross functional teams including planning, production, and shipping

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Zero to two years of professional experience including internships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills
• Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environments
• Experience working with data, reports, or process improvement initiatives
• Familiarity with continuous improvement concepts

Additional Information
• Full-time, on-site role
• First shift with potential for other shifts as business needs require
• No travel required
• Export control compliance required
