Job Title: Supply Management Specialist
Location: Milan, IL
Assignment Length: 12 Months, W2
Pay Rate: $29.00/hr
Shift Information: Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a ½ hour lunch. Some flexibility is possible, but the position is approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an entry-level Supply Management Specialist for a 12-month assignment in Milan, IL. This role provides sourcing and order fulfillment support for commodities of lower value and less complexity. It includes developing and executing strategies and contracts, analyzing supplier performance, and supporting cost reduction activities.
Job Duties:
- Execute Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) with a focus on cost reduction activities.
- Analyze quotations and select suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, lead time, process capability, and supplier stability.
- Participate in resourcing activities and make versus buy decisions.
- Collect cost data and prepare limited supplier cost/industry analyses.
- Support the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process, ensuring design changes and product improvements are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and execute inventory plans to achieve material flow and asset management goals.
- Resolve shipping, receiving, invoicing, and payment problems to ensure prompt payment to suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvement and lowest total cost with the supply base, utilizing Achieving Excellence process and criteria.
- Define, resolve, and provide permanent solutions to supplier performance issues, working with other functions as needed.
- Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and assure proper communication occurs.
- Expedite parts when necessary.
Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with PowerBI
