Job Summary:
The Supply Management Specialist is responsible for managing the delivery of purchased parts from internal and external suppliers to support operational needs. This role ensures timely material flow, supports inventory availability, and maintains effective communication with suppliers and cross-functional teams. The position is onsite and operates during standard first shift hours.
Responsibilities:
- Managed the delivery and tracking of purchased parts from internal and external suppliers across assigned locations.
- Coordinated with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply or delivery issues.
- Monitored inventory levels and supported continuity of supply for production and operations.
- Maintained accurate records and updated systems related to parts, orders, and supplier performance.
- Communicated across internal teams to align material availability with operational expectations.
- Utilized Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, to track data and support reporting efforts.
- Supported process improvements related to supply management and supplier coordination.
- Leveraged SAP and other systems (if applicable) to manage procurement and inventory processes.
Years of Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required
- Open to recent graduates with relevant degree background
- Preference for candidates with prior experience in supply management, purchasing, or a manufacturing environment
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Solid computer and data entry skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with suppliers and inventory processes preferred
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
