Supply Management Specialist

Position Summary
The Supply Management Specialist will support continuous improvement and sourcing initiatives within a manufacturing and production environment. This position will focus on identifying optimal sourcing solutions, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing supplier-related projects, and supporting quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute continuous improvement projects and determine optimal sourcing solutions for quality, cost, and delivery
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
- Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout projects
- Lead supplier resourcing and risk mitigation projects
- Develop knowledge and exposure across multiple commodities
- Maintain team communication and project management tools
- Gather data and input, make decisions, and drive projects through resolution
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Open to recent graduates
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Ability to investigate, take ownership of, and resolve complex or ambiguous problems
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Self-starter who can independently gather information, make decisions, and take action
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience
- Experience creating dashboards or visual reporting tools
- Experience with Power BI, data analytics, SharePoint, or similar tools
Additional Details
- Must be comfortable driving a personal vehicle to other facilities within approximately a 20-mile radius around Waterloo about six times per year
- Occasional supplier travel may be required, with a rental car provided
