Team Lead – 1st Shift
Pay: $38.00 – $40.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Onsite | 5 Days per Week
Position Overview
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee daily production operations and support a high-performing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring production goals and customer commitments are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead production employees on a daily basis
- Promote a culture focused on Safety, Quality, and Delivery
- Collaborate with management to establish and execute production schedules
- Ensure production targets and customer delivery requirements are achieved
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members
- Monitor performance and hold employees accountable to established expectations
- Address workplace issues and resolve conflicts effectively
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and regulations
- Coordinate staffing needs, overtime assignments, and daily work priorities
- Assist with equipment, maintenance, and operational planning
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work-related experience
- Prior leadership or team lead experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate, develop, and lead diverse teams
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience managing employee performance and accountability
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and workplace safety requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as production demands require
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
- Production planning and scheduling experience
- Employee training and development experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Additional Information
- Fully onsite position
- Overtime may be required based on production demands
- Metatarsal safety boots are required on the first day
- Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position
