Summary
We are seeking a Technical Marketing Operations Specialist to support project-based execution across our marketing technology stack. This role focuses on hands on technical work, including HTML email development, data mapping, audience configuration, QA, and system troubleshooting. You will collaborate closely with our Marketing Operations and data teams to ensure accurate campaign builds, reliable data flows, and consistent execution of technical marketing assets.

Responsibilities

  • Execute technical tasks across marketing operations to support campaign setup, QA, and deployment.
  • Perform data mapping, validation, and troubleshooting for marketing platforms and integrations.
  • Maintain and update marketing databases, audience definitions, and suppression logic.
  • Build and refine target segments and queries based on campaign requirements.
  • Develop and modify HTML email templates, modules, and layouts; ensure cross client rendering accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing and data protection standards through accurate implementation.
  • Build and update multi step programs, automations, and triggered communications within marketing platforms.
  • Support day to day email campaign execution and production needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (design, copy, data teams) to ensure technical accuracy and alignment.
  • Generate reports from automation platforms, analytics tools, and internal sources.
  • Assist with user scoring models, tagging frameworks, and engagement tracking as directed.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to increase efficiency and standardize reusable technical components.
  • Create or update documentation related to processes, templates, and recurring technical tasks.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong experience in Marketing Operations, with hands on expertise in HTML email coding and QA.
  • Comfortable working with queries, segmentation logic, and audience targeting within marketing platforms.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve data, formatting, and technical integration issues.
  • Detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and operational scalability.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and foundational data structures.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple technical workstreams.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms with preference for direct experience with Acoustic. (e.g., Acoustic, IBM Watson, Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
  • Strong HTML/CSS for email campaign development and testing.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices including data protection (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), email compliance (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and accessibility (WCAG, ADA) regulations. 
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred (e.g., Salesforce).
