Location: Medina, NY
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM (10?hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $22.65/hour
Employment Type: Contract
Work Environment: Onsite, FDA-regulated manufacturing facility

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for hands-on assembly of medical device infusion pumps in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role focuses on small?parts assembly following standard operating procedures to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance. Technicians work as part of a production team and perform repetitive, detail?oriented tasks to meet daily production targets.

This position is ideal for individuals who are safety?focused, detail?oriented, and comfortable working in a structured manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical device infusion pumps using small hand tools and components
  • Follow written work instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform visual inspections to identify defects, particulate, or foreign matter per FDA requirements
  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation, including electronic records
  • Meet daily production goals in a fast?paced, team?based environment
  • Maintain compliance with FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Adhere to safety and cleanroom protocols, including required protective equipment

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to identify and differentiate small electronic or mechanical components
  • Strong hand?eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
  • Basic computer skills for data entry, scanning, and documentation
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and transcribe data accurately
  • Comfortable working in a repetitive assembly role with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast?paced production environment and meet daily targets

Preferred Experience

  • Manufacturing or assembly experience in a regulated environment
  • Experience with mechanical or electrical assembly or repair
  • Familiarity with SOP?driven work, quality documentation, or production schedules

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for most of the workday
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds from floor to shoulder
  • Ability to lift 2 pounds from shoulder to overhead
  • Ability to push or pull up to 6 pounds of force
  • Good vision and ability to distinguish colors and small details

Work Environment

  • Temperature? and humidity?controlled manufacturing facility
  • FDA?regulated medical device production environment
  • Required use of safety glasses, static?protective smock, and wrist grounding strap
  • Close proximity work with other team members
