Job Summary
We are seeking a Tech II (Assembly) to support the production of medical devices in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.
This role is focused on small parts assembly of infusion pumps, where candidates will follow detailed work instructions to build high-quality products in a controlled, team-based setting. The position requires strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to meet daily production targets in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-oriented individuals with a strong work ethic who are comfortable performing repetitive, precision-based assembly tasks and working within structured production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform small parts assembly of infusion pumps from start to finish
- Follow detailed SOPs/work instructions to ensure quality and compliance
- Work with small hand tools and delicate components
- Complete basic troubleshooting during the assembly process (no repair work)
- Maintain daily production targets (approximately 45 units per day)
- Accurately complete documentation and data entry (DHR, scanning, tracking)
- Visually inspect components and finished products for quality standards
- Work collaboratively in a team environment (8–9 people per team)
- Adhere to FDA regulations and strict safety protocols
- Support production, restock, and light technical tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work with small electronic/mechanical components
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow written instructions and detailed procedures
- Basic computer skills (data entry, scanning, typing)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and visual inspection capability
- Ability to perform basic math and accurately transcribe data
- Ability to read and write English proficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet production demands
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
- Exposure to mechanical or electrical environments (nice-to-have)
- Experience working with SOPs or production schedules
- Packaging or production line experience
- Candidates with precision-based hobbies (e.g., sewing, knitting, crafting)
- Candidates returning to manufacturing are welcome
Work Environment
- Temperature and humidity-controlled manufacturing facility
- FDA-regulated environment with strict compliance standards
- PPE required: safety glasses, static smock, wrist strap grounding
- No steel-toe shoes required
- Work performed in close proximity to team members

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for most of the workday
- Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds (floor to shoulder)
- Ability to lift up to 2 pounds (shoulder to overhead)
- Ability to push/pull up to 6 pounds of force
Schedule & Work Structure
Monday – Thursday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
On-Site: Medina, New York
Occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays
10-day training period with a trainer before independent work
Repetitive daily tasks using 4–5 core components
