Manufacturing Technician II (Medical Device Production)
Location: St. Paul, Minnesota – Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM
Compensation: $20/hr (W2) — Medical, Dental, Vision
 

About the Role
This role supports hands-on manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of medical device products. The technician follows SOPs, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Work is detail?oriented, process?driven, and performed within a regulated production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform production tasks including washing components, wrapping for sterilization, assembling or gluing components, packaging and sealing devices, preparing items for sterilization, and final labeling.
  • Operate standard production equipment such as sealers, autoclaves, and stir plates.
  • Maintain daily cleaning of production areas per GMP standards.
  • Receive and distribute supplies as needed on the production floor.
  • Follow all SOPs, cGMP, quality guidelines, and safety protocols.
  • Complete training promptly and maintain accurate production documentation.
  • Support additional manufacturing tasks as assigned.

Work Environment

  • Work may be performed in a clean room requiring PPE (scrubs, bonnets, masks, gloves, safety glasses).
  • Tasks may rotate depending on production needs.
  • Overtime may be required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or sit for an 8?hour shift with scheduled breaks.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs individually and up to 65 lbs with a team lift.
  • Occasional pushing/pulling of carts containing product or solutions.
  • Frequent hand coordination, repetitive motions, and grasping.
  • Must meet 20/25 vision requirements (with or without corrective lenses).

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Basic English reading, writing, and verbal communication.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, safety rules, and quality procedures.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
