Title: Assembler
Location: Minden, Nevada
Details: Contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role, Monday – Friday 6:30AM – 2:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 – 20.20/hr.
Job Description:
Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components in accordance with bill of material (BOM) and work instruction requirements
- Perform functional testing on completed mechanical assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Test-assemble equipment based on customer and division specifications
- Operate and handle test equipment in alignment with engineering standards
- Apply settings, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools and equipment
- Prepare completed products for shipment
- Maintain production efficiency while meeting output expectations
Requirements
- 1+ year of hands-on mechanical or assembly experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with components and tools
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures accurately
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-based environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Must demonstrate efficiency and attention to detail
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Skills
- Mechanical assembly and component building
- Use of hand tools and assembly equipment
- Basic testing and quality inspection
- Ability to interpret BOMs and work instructions
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems (SAP, SAP DM, Baker Hughes systems preferred)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets
