? Location: Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite in Mountain View, CA or New York City, NY

Position Summary

Join the Ad Solutions Design team as a Designer 4 (Contract), where you’ll lead the design of innovative advertising solutions across the company’s ecosystem—TVs, phones, and connected devices. You’ll collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to shape high-impact, user-centered experiences that drive performance and deliver value to consumers and brands.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead Design Initiatives: Own large-scale projects from concept to launch, including strategic ideation, flows, wireframes, visuals, and specs.
  • Set the Quality Bar: Deliver best-in-class product experiences with a focus on simplicity, cohesion, and innovation.
  • Design Systems: Apply and evolve design systems for cohesive, scalable experiences across platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers, marketers, and fellow designers to define problems and deliver solutions.
  • Influence Across Teams: Align with global platform teams (Home, Gaming, Digital Appliances) through exploratory design and clear communication.
  • User-Centered Design: Engage in user research, usability testing, and industry forums to inform design decisions.
  • Design Citizenship: Foster a strong design culture through mentorship, collaboration, and feedback.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years in Design (UI, UX, Product), with experience in B2B, SaaS, or enterprise products
  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design, strategic thinking, and high craft
  • Proven ability to define long-term strategy and address tactical needs
  • Expertise in accessibility and design systems
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in prototyping tools

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ad-tech
  • Familiarity with multi-platform products (e.g., mobile + TV, connected ecosystems)
  • Experience with multi-language products
  • Background in user research facilitation
  • Understanding of AI-enhanced user experiences or contextual design patterns
