Job Title: Workday Talent Acquisition Contractor

Pay Rate: $30-33 per hour
Position Overview
Seeking a Workday Talent Acquisition Contractor to support a recently implemented Workday Recruiting platform, with a primary focus on post-go-live hypercare and stabilization activities. This position is critical to ensuring a smooth transition for end users, driving adoption, and providing functional and technical support throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
In this hands-on, collaborative role, you will partner closely with People Systems, Talent Acquisition, HR, and IT teams to provide front-line support to recruiters, hiring managers, employees, and candidates. Serving as a subject matter expert for Workday Recruiting, you will help users navigate recruiting workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a positive user experience.
Additionally, you will identify, diagnose, and resolve system and process issues, perform root cause analysis, manage defects, and support ongoing system enhancements. The role also includes contributing to Workday configuration and continuous improvement efforts, including business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, and security administration.
This position requires active participation in hypercare support, ticket management, and bi-weekly sprint cycles focused on addressing backlog items and implementing business enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-line support to recruiters, hiring managers, employees, and candidates on Workday Recruiting processes and system functionality.
- Guide users through recruiting workflows, ensuring processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot system and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve or escalate issues as needed.
- Log, track, and manage defects and support tickets during hypercare, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support Workday Recruiting configuration activities, including:
- Updating and maintaining business processes
- Creating and managing condition rules
- Developing calculated fields
- Investigating and resolving security and access issues
- Partner with People Systems, HR, and IT teams to test, validate, and deploy system enhancements.
- Participate in bi-weekly sprint cycles to address backlog items and deliver continuous improvements.
- Support ongoing adoption and optimization of recruiting processes by providing feedback on user experience and system performance.
- Maintain data integrity and quality across recruiting processes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on Workday Recruiting configuration experience.
- Workday Recruiting Certification.
- Experience supporting HR or Talent Acquisition system implementations and/or post-go-live support.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support a diverse user base.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting hypercare or system stabilization initiatives.
- Knowledge of Workday configuration, including business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, and security.
- Experience working in Agile or sprint-based environments.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
