Summary

Our client is seeking a Specialist, Merchandising Operations to support the retail initiatives across multiple channels. This role focuses on executing best?in?class merchandising strategies, optimizing retail experiences, and driving customer engagement through thoughtful space planning, visual merchandising, and cross?functional collaboration. The ideal candidate brings strong planogram expertise, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple retail launches with precision and quality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain merchandising strategies for company’s multi-channel retail environments.

  • Partner cross-functionally to support, refine, and innovate retail merchandising concepts that elevate customer awareness and in-store engagement.

  • Lead the development of merchandising planograms in collaboration with sales and product teams to optimize product category performance.

  • Oversee execution of display units, visual merchandising elements, device security hardware, and retail graphics across diverse store formats.

  • Coordinate internal and external resources for digital on-device content and required customizations.

  • Manage end?to?end project execution for all carrier product launches and retail experience rollouts.

  • Communicate merchandising plans clearly to field teams and carrier account partners for seamless alignment.

  • Track KPIs and ROI for merchandising programs and provide insights for continuous improvement.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, carrier partners, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Monitor and support budget and vendor requests, ensuring timely approvals in partnership with project management teams.

  • Test, stage, and verify carrier fixtures in Client’s Retail Lab ahead of upcoming launches.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience in retail project management or operations; wireless industry experience is a plus.

  • High proficiency in Blue Yonder (Formerly JDA) Space Planning and Floor Planning for mobile product planograms.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong understanding of the consumer journey, retail trends, and merchandising insights.

  • Demonstrated success collaborating across cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to make informed, data?driven recommendations aligned with business objectives.

  • Customer?focused mindset with adaptability to changing needs.

  • Experience engaging with senior leadership and presenting project updates.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related PC applications.
