Data Analyst
Location: Dearborn, MI
Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days/week onsite
Position Overview
The Used Vehicle Residual Value Analyst will perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling of used vehicle residual values, auction prices, and key market drivers. This role directly supports business planning, sales strategy, and risk management by delivering accurate forecasting, data visualization, and insights that guide decision?making across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical expertise, hands?on modeling experience, and a passion for applying modern data tools to automotive market behavior.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain statistical and machine?learning models to quantify relationships between auction prices and used vehicle residual value drivers.

Produce used vehicle residual value forecasts to support core business processes.

Analyze, quantify, and decompose used vehicle residual value gaps across brands, segments, and vehicles.

Create data visualizations, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights to leadership and business partners.

Apply modern analytical tools, data sets, and methodologies to enhance price modeling accuracy.

Execute descriptive and inferential ad?hoc analyses for management and business customers in a timely manner.

Interpret model outcomes to surface emerging trends, market patterns, and actionable insights.
