Job Title: Shopify Site Developer
Contract Duration: Estimated at 80 hours, ideally completed over 2–3 weeks.
Work Arrangement: Remote in US
Schedule: Flexible schedule (4–6 hours/day), with checkpoints.
Pay Range: $60-$65/hour

Summary
We are seeking a skilled Shopify Site Developer to support the design and development of the StreamLabs e-commerce platform. This short-term assignment focuses on migrating an existing FAQ support site from Zendesk to Shopify, using only native Shopify features (no third-party apps or plugins). The ideal candidate will ensure a seamless, user-friendly experience with a strong emphasis on navigability, clarity, and layout.

Responsibilities
Theme Development & Customization

  • Customize existing Shopify themes to align with StreamLabs branding and structure the FAQ architecture.

UX & Performance Optimization

  • Ensure mobile responsiveness, fast load times, and intuitive navigation for an optimal user experience.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

  • Identify and resolve technical issues, debug code, and establish a maintainable structure for future updates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Customer Service, Sales, and eCommerce teams to ensure content accuracy and completeness. Address broken links and missing information, and enhance overall usability.

Required Skills & Experience
Shopify Expertise

  • Proficient in Shopify’s Liquid language and theme customization
  • Experience with Shopify Admin/API for bulk content management

Front-End Development

  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with responsive design, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards

Back-End Familiarity

  • Understanding of server-side technologies and database management

Technical Problem-Solving

  • Experience exporting content from Zendesk Help Center
  • QA and cross-browser testing skills

Communication & Teamwork

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and collaborate across departments

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical equivalent
  • 3–5 years of experience in HTML/JavaScript development, preferably with a focus on Shopify
