Project Manager IIII

Location: Peoria, IL (On-site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, First Shift
Duration: 12-month contract (potential to convert or extend)
Pay Rate: $67 – 72/hourly with optional benefits packages including 401k, PTO, and medical insurance

Position Summary

This role supports the early stages of a warranty transformation initiative, with a strong focus on defining responsibilities and collaborating with program managers. It also contributes to parts pricing transformation, particularly in a workstream involving mainframe-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with program managers on warranty and parts pricing transformation initiatives.
  • Lead and support smaller operational projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Manage and track project work using Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project (familiarity preferred).
  • Coordinate tasks related to the mainframe within the parts pricing transformation (technical knowledge is a bonus, not required).
  • Partner with leadership for change management initiatives.

Change Management

  • Drive technology-centric change management within the warranty space.
  • Communicate downstream data impacts and ensure smooth adoption by end users.
  • Organize and present changes clearly to stakeholders.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project.
  • Proven ability to manage programs/projects using both Agile and Waterfall.
  • Strong background in change management, analytical thinking, and organizational leadership.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across IT and business units.
  • Skilled in developing project charters, plans, budgets, status reports, and facilitating stakeholder updates.
  • Knowledge of mainframe and distributed-based applications is desirable.
  • Familiarity with dealer system integrations is a plus.
