Job Title: Product Owner 2
Location: Broomfield, CO (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, potential to move to 5)
Duration: 12-month contract
Compensation: $55-58/hr W2 + medical, dental, vision, 401k match
Overview
We are seeking a Product Owner to support a fast-paced digital initiative focused on mobile application development. This role will drive requirements and user story development for a large-scale platform used across multiple workstreams, partnering closely with engineering teams, global stakeholders, and end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate epics into clear, actionable user stories to support development teams.
- Partner with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
- Drive alignment across distributed teams, including international partners.
- Support delivery of mobile application features within defined timelines.
- Collaborate with external users and internal teams to ensure product usability and success.
- Maintain strong attention to detail across requirements, documentation, and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role (internship experience acceptable).
- Experience working with information systems and digital product environments.
- Strong ability to break down complex work into structured user stories.
- Proven collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Able to work independently while actively contributing in a team setting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AHA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Exposure to mobile application development environments.
- Familiarity with on-highway or equipment-related domains is a plus.
