Overview:
About the Role: The Massachusetts Department of Revenue (MA DOR) through the ANF IT division seeks to enhance the security, scalability, and operational efficiency of its analytics environment through the migration of its on-premises SAS 9.4 platform to AWS.
SAS Installation and Migration Services
Consultant will provide installation and configuration services for SAS 9.4m8 on a new production server within AWS. The new servers will be built with same like-for-like configuration as the existing on-prem servers. This engagement also includes migration of existing data, users, and SAS assets on both Windows and Linux environments.
Activities include but are not limited to:
• Project kickoff and requirements gathering
• Conduct migration planning meetings and define migration approach
• Create the Pre-Installation Requirements Document (PIRD) Installation and Configuration
• Download the SAS 9.4m8 Software Depot including any required SAS components, products, or bundles
o?????Migrate three on-prem servers (tiers) to one AWS instance.
• Installation and Configuration of SAS 9.4m8 in an out-of-the-box configuration with HTTPS for all communications
• Application of required hot fixes
• Post installation and validation of SAS 94m8 components (excluding unused SAS Forecast Server)
• Configure MA DOR specific SAS/Access to PC File formats configuration
• Configure MA DOR specific SAS Metadata Libraries Migration
• Migrate metadata and users to the new SAS environment
• Migrate file system content, including SAS datasets, SAS Enterprise Guide projects, SAS programs, and source files.
• Update schedules on new server to match existing servers
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution to support MA DOR UAT
• Completion of Safeguards SCSEM Cloud 7.0 and RHEL 7.0 checklists
• Documentation and Knowledge Transfer
