Now Hiring: Product Service Consultant / Quality Engineer (Contract) – Tucson, AZ

We are seeking a Product Service Consultant / Quality Engineer to support advanced technology solutions in a mining and industrial environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, supporting new product development, and working directly with customers to improve product quality and performance.

Location: Tucson, AZ (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week (Flexible start/end times)
Duration: 24-Month Contract
Pay: $37 – $39 an hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) initiatives.
  • Validate form, fit, and function of newly developed products and technology solutions.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and diagnose technical and application-related issues.
  • Evaluate defects and performance concerns in production systems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide advanced technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Triage escalations and help restore customer production systems efficiently.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and validation records.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to drive product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in project management activities and support continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3–4 years of relevant engineering, product support, or technical service experience.
  • Experience supporting NPI and/or CPI processes.
  • Strong customer focus, problem-solving skills, and technical aptitude.
  • Experience supporting technology in industrial, manufacturing, production, or field-service environments.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure, Linux, SQL Server, and TCP/IP networking.
  • Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, or system schematics.
  • Product support, field support, or service engineering experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting technical data.
  • Mining industry experience is highly desirable.
