Customer Service Representative / Service Coordinator
Location: Rocky Hill, CT (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused professional to serve as the primary point of contact for customers at a busy service location. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and experience supporting service operations within the automotive, diesel, truck, equipment, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in person.
  • Build positive customer relationships by providing timely, professional, and responsive service.
  • Create and manage service work orders, schedule appointments, and coordinate service activities.
  • Provide customers with updates regarding service status and repair progress.
  • Prepare quotes, process documentation, and maintain accurate customer and equipment records.
  • Collaborate with service technicians, parts personnel, and internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Support warranty and service documentation processes as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience in automotive service, truck service, diesel, equipment service, fleet maintenance, or a related industry.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment.
  • Comfortable working with computers, emails, service management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Power generation industry experience is highly preferred.
