Job Summary
We are seeking a Web Content Analyst to support website enhancements, content management, and digital experience initiatives that improve user engagement and drive measurable business outcomes. This entry-level role works under direct supervision and partners with stakeholders to support web content updates, user experience improvements, accessibility compliance, and search engine optimization (SEO) efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering reliable and effective web solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with website enhancement projects, including project documentation and tracking activities.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and support low to moderately complex web content and styling updates using HTML and CSS.
  • Ensure website content meets browser compatibility, accessibility, and usability standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and optimize content using SEO best practices.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for website content and functionality.
  • Support compliance with security requirements, brand standards, WCAG guidelines, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Contribute to business continuity efforts by supporting contingency plans for time-sensitive website communications and operational readiness.
  • Utilize approved AI resources to improve efficiency and support day-to-day responsibilities.

Years of Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field; equivalent training, certification, or relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • 0–2 years of experience in web content management, website maintenance, digital communications, or a related field.
  • Internship, academic, or project-based experience supporting websites or digital content is preferred.

Skills Required
Technical Skills

  • Strong HTML coding skills.
  • Working knowledge of CSS and web styling best practices.
  • Understanding of content management systems (CMS) and website publishing processes.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of website accessibility standards, including WCAG and Section 508.
  • Basic understanding of user experience (UX) concepts.
  • Experience with graphics composition, visualization tools, or digital content creation tools is preferred.
  • Fundamental data reporting and analytical skills.
