Project / Program Manager (Non-IT) – New Product Introduction (NPI)
Location: Mossville, IL (Onsite, 5 Days/Week)
Compensation: $58.00 – $62.00/hour
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives focused on advanced connectivity solutions for heavy equipment and enterprise technology platforms. This role will drive cross-functional programs from concept through execution, partnering with engineering, product development, suppliers, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative customer-facing solutions.
This is a highly visible position offering the opportunity to work on connected technologies, telematics, wireless communications, and next-generation digital solutions that support real-world operational performance and fleet management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex engineering and product development programs from planning through execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of project objectives, schedules, and milestones.
- Gather and translate customer, business, and regulatory requirements into actionable program plans.
- Drive stakeholder alignment across engineering, product, operations, and leadership teams.
- Manage program risks, dependencies, and issue resolution while maintaining project momentum.
- Collaborate with suppliers and technical teams to evaluate and implement emerging technologies.
- Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements reviews, and program execution meetings.
- Support development of technology roadmaps and future product strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- 10+ years of Project Management, Program Management, NPI Leadership, or related experience.
- Proven success leading complex engineering or product development programs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving program execution.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, problem solving, and stakeholder management.
- Background in electronic components, information systems, machine systems, or related technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification.
- Experience with connectivity, telematics, IoT, or connected product technologies.
- Knowledge of wireless technologies such as Cellular, Satellite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or related communication systems.
- Heavy equipment, industrial equipment, or manufacturing product development experience.
- Familiarity with on-machine technologies, automation, remote operations, or autonomous systems.
- Experience presenting to executive and VP-level stakeholders.
